About Dr Will Evans
I am a Senior Lecturer in Exercise Physiology, with a background in clinical exercise physiology. I hold certification as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-CEP) and in bone densitometry (National Osteoporosis Society).
My research spans aging, frailty, cardiopulmonary exercise testing, and bone health, with a focus on exercise screening, intervention development, and implementation across multiple comorbidities. I combine clinical insight with robust data analysis to inform evidence-based strategies for improving health outcomes.
Teaching and supervision
My main focus is (clinical) exercise physiology across the undergraduate and postgraduate sport courses
I teach across the following modules:
- Advanced Sport and Exercise Sciences (Level 7)
- Research methods and dissertation (Level 7)
- Clinical exercise physiology (Level 6)
- Research Project Supervision (Level 6 and 7, plus PhD supervision).
