The BSC (Hons) Professional Practice provides a route for registered Nursing and Allied Healthcare Professionals (AHPs) to gain an undergraduate qualification and award for career enhancement and professional development.
For available funding opportunities please contact cape@sunderland.ac.uk.
The course will consist of modules from the University of Sunderland’s Continuous Professional Development (CPD) portfolio, as well as the University’s module catalogue, allowing individuals to accumulate university credits. One of the compulsory modules is Independent Study in Higher Education (HE) and all students are required to complete this as part of the course.
Professionals who have previously studied at the University as part of their CPD have the potential for further Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL), a maximum of 60 credits. This will be assessed by the Programme Director and advice will be provided on the individualised pathway to achieve the graduate qualification.
We don’t currently display entry requirements for United States. Please contact the Student Admin team on studentadmin@sunderland.ac.uk or 0191 515 3154.
The course allows recognition of, and Accreditation of Prior Achievement (APA) of a maximum of 240 credits from a Diploma or Advanced Diploma in HE.
Successful completion of a Diploma in HE or Advanced Diploma in HE (maximum 240 credits) in nursing or another professionally recognised programme will allow access to this course.
