Develop skills and knowledge in applied education, teaching and learning theories and methodologies, coaching, and critical thinking in clinical practice.
This 20-credit, Level 7 module will allow you to develop skills and knowledge in applied education, evidence-based strategy, teaching and learning theories and methodologies, coaching, mentorship, supervision, and critical thinking in clinical practice.
You'll also develop your advanced practice role with underpinning knowledge and skills in synthesising applied techniques to enhance health literacy and development of a sustainable culture of learning.
This course runs from February to September 2025. The number of face-to-face taught hours for the course is 14, with 22 directed study hours and 164 independent study hours.
Face-to-face teaching is delivered at City Campus every other week, from February to July, with an in-person assessment in early September.
The assessment will be a presentation delivered to the course tutors assessing all learning outcomes.

To be eligible for this course, you must be a registered healthcare professional and working in a clinical, leadership, or managerial role at an advanced level of practice.
The fee for this course is £840.
