Coaching is one of the most important skills for any leader. It can be used to drive growth and better results from yourself and others and can aid individuals in overcoming struggles and barriers to progress.
This masterclass will develop your coaching abilities, as a tool for enhancing leadership effectiveness. You'll explore coaching in the context of business leadership, and learn the purpose of coaching and where coaching sits on the continuum of professional development interventions. You'll explore and practice the skills and qualities required to be a successful coach, understand the coaching process, and the importance of setting goals.
The course is aimed at individuals from private, public, and third-sector organisations, business owners, managers, or people from within an organisation who are interested in developing their leader effectiveness through coaching.

This course is normally delivered at St Peter's Campus, Sunderland, but for closed and bespoke cohorts, the course can be delivered at your workplace.

To be eligible to receive this course fully funded, you must be employed by a Sunderland-based business. If you are self-funding, your suitability will be assessed by an academic on completion of the application form.
The fee for this course is £125.
