International tuition fees apply to any students who live outside the European Union (EU). Find out more about supporting your students with fees, scholarships, and payments.
Students from a country within the EU can pay their annual tuition fee in full as a single payment, or in instalments of three smaller payments.
The deadline for a single payment is 31 October and the deadlines for three smaller payments are 1 November, 1 February, and 1 May. For those applying to study at our London Campus, this will depend on the intake.
Most students from outside the EU will require a Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies (CAS) and must pay a non-refundable deposit of £3,500. This deposit becomes the first part of the tuition fee payment and the remaining fees can be paid in five equal instalments.
The tuition fee and scholarship stated on their offer letter is for each year of the scheduled duration of the course they're studying, subject to satisfactory progress. Please note that repeat years and sandwich placement years don't qualify for a scholarship, nor do PhD research courses beyond year 3.
If a deposit is required as a condition of their offer, this must be paid in order for them to receive an unconditional offer and a CAS letter for visa purposes. Students won't be allowed to register or attend classes until full payment has been received by the University, and this will apply for each year of study.
Students whose fees are paid by official sponsorship or those receiving Government grants will be required to provide certified evidence (an official letter on sponsor's letterhead) before or at registration, and won't be allowed to register until they do.
If a sponsor is funding less than the full amount of the tuition fee or withdraws the sponsorship during the financial year for any reason, it's the responsibility of the student to settle any outstanding amount.
Some undergraduate and postgraduate international students will receive a scholarship. If the student is from a region eligible for the scholarship, they won't need to apply for it as it will be applied automatically.
International students also have access to a number of other scholarships, which are open to both EU and non-EU students.
We accept the following payment methods:
The applicant's name and application number must be quoted on all tuition fee transactions and you'll be required to know the applicant's date of birth to make payment by credit or debit card. Please make sure that applicants read the correct year's regulations for their year of entry before any payment is made.
