This level 3 Team Leader apprenticeship will help you understand different leadership styles, people and team management models. It'll also explore different approaches to customer and stakeholder relationships, communication, organisational strategy, project lifecycles, organisational compliance, time management and problems solving and decision-making techniques.
Team Leader apprentices will be able to communicate organisational strategy and team purpose, shape a high-performing teams, build trust with and across the team, communicate effectively, deliver against operational plans, organise and manage resources and risk, and ensure effective budgetary controls.
You'll drive to achieve all aspects of work, be open and approachable, flexible, innovative, solutions focused and promote organisational values.
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you'll achieve Foundation Chartered Manager Status and be able to use the fCMgr credentials after your name. This will also provide a springboard to attaining full Chartered Manager status with CMI.
This apprenticeship is 15 months on-programme training and development to support you in learning the requisite skills, knowledge and behaviours for today’s managers. This will be demonstrated by a portfolio of evidence that you'll create by actively taking part in a combination of blended learning activities, including group workshops, 1 to 1 coaching, workplace mentoring and shadowing, and online learning, all contributing to the 20% off-job training allocation.
As well as providing a portfolio of evidence throughout the course of the apprenticeship, there is also an independent end-point assessment via the CMI over a 3-month period that provides the opportunity for you to showcase and demonstrate what you've learnt, and apply the required knowledge, skills and behaviours via:

Your employer must be able to commit to the provision of the apprenticeship which includes 20% ‘off the job’ learning time.
You will need to have achieved a level 2 qualification in English and Maths before progressing to the End Point Assessment.

On programme completion offers Foundation Chartered Manager Status with the CMI that will support further professional leadership development.
