Health and Clinical Sciences

Build on your knowledge of biology and chemistry; learn how the human body and different organ systems function, and the causes and progress of disease. Work in innovative facilities, including simulated environments and industry-standard equipment and laboratories. Apply your on-campus studies to relevant work experience opportunities and placements where relevant.

Our Anatomy and Physiology courses are in the top 20 in the UK and our Biomedical Science courses are in the top 40 in the UK (Guardian University Guide 2024).

We offer two distinctive on-campus courses:

You may also be able to switch to Healthcare Science, specialising in Blood Sciences, Cellular Sciences, Genetic Sciences, or Infection Sciences (Biomedical Science routes) or in Cardiac Physiology or Audiology (Physiological Sciences routes), subject to placement availability and interview.
