Benefit from Sunderland’s teaching of computing in your own country. ‘Top-up’ your existing knowledge and skills to the level of an honours degree. Undertake a major hands-on project that involves developing a working solution to a particular problem.
The content of the course mirrors the Sunderland-based equivalent course Computer Systems Engineering (Top-Up).
Our courses delivered at study centres share the same ethos, material and approach as those delivered at Sunderland itself. So this course is a way to gain the benefits of an education from our University without having to move to Sunderland.
Like all courses from the University of Sunderland, this one-year course develops a blend of theory and practice. It will ‘top-up’ your existing knowledge and skills to the level of an honours degree.
Please contact your Study Centre for the duration and mode of this course.
Teaching methods include lectures, tutorials, seminars and group work. As well as assessments that count towards your degree, there are also on-going assessments for feedback and consolidating your learning. Assessment methods include coursework and exams.
Teaching on this part-time course takes place on evenings and at weekends. The full-time course is taught during the day.
We don’t currently display entry requirements for United States. Please contact the Student Admin team on studentadmin@sunderland.ac.uk or 0191 515 3154.
Please contact the study centre for more information on their specific requirements and equivalent qualifications from outside the UK.
Please contact the Study Centre for details of the fees for this course.
