I have always wanted to study engineering as I have always enjoyed maths and physics. Having studied the course for three years now it has really opened my eyes to what engineering is and how much it affects the world today, from design to manufacturing and management.

With the facilities available you are really encouraged to expand your knowledge further and gain an insight into each area available within the engineering field.

Because there are that many areas, when I started I didn’t really know what I wanted to do with my degree. But the professors are very friendly and supportive and they really help you to find that area which you are most passionate about.

With my degree I’m hoping to enter the thermodynamic industry as I’ve developed a real interest in it during my time at university.”
