I have enjoyed a very practical approach to learning. After each lecture, we had the chance to practice what we had just been taught, a more pleasurable and effective way of learning. The curriculum is continuously evolving to match the latest developments in the field and skills employers want.
At first, I was a bit self-conscious about my English, but realised that fellow students were going through the same thing – it was a relief to know I wasn’t the only one. The University is a very friendly and warm environment which makes you feel welcomed right away and they encourage students to meet, socialise and have fun.
I did a placement year with Clicksco as a Junior Software Developer which greatly improved my technical and social skills. I gained experience that will give me an edge when applying for future jobs.
After graduation, I have been offered a position at Unified Software working on improving and adding features to their existing products. At some point in the future, I’d like to study a Masters part-time."
