I chose to study at the University of Sunderland due to the university being local it allowed me to stay close to family and to continue working part-time. The University also offered the course I was interested in and had a good reputation.

I wanted to further my education and to gain knowledge that I felt would help me within a future career. After completing a Btec in Business at Bede College with triple distinction star, I was inspired to go to University. I chose to continue studying business and opted to specialise in Finance because I have always enjoyed Maths and did well in this subject at GCSE.

The best aspects of my course are the resources that are available, the tutors being easily accessible and the people that I met during my time at University.

I would recommend the University of Sunderland to other students as I have had a good experience and have no reasons to not recommend it to others. The University offers great services and has a wide variety of resources available including the libraries, online sources and the tutors who are easily accessible when required.

I would advise prospective students that their hard work will pay off, as long as they are willing to work hard and be willing to put in the effort and time.

If could describe my university experience I would say that it was a lot of hard work but I am pleased with what I have achieved. I would also say that the University offers a friendly environment and student culture, welcoming staff and a wide variety of resources."
