I found my Quality Assurance Placement with Lear Corporation so rewarding as I was exposed to a range of new concepts, people and experiences. Having proven my capabilities I was given more responsibility, which meant I was in charge of my own small tasks. I was able to assist on larger projects, offering my insight, which was appreciated by management. This gave me immense satisfaction, as I could perceive the value of my contributions to the business. An industrial placement is a valuable learning curve. It gives you a head start in the job market; it develops your work life skills and the practical application of the knowledge you have learned and will increase your grades in the final year.”
