Who is eligible?

In order to be eligible for the Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be making an application from and be nationals and live in Algeria, Morocco, Jordan, Egypt and Turkey.
  • Must meet all academic and English conditions on application.
  • Must apply for either a full time undergraduate or postgraduate programme starting in September/October 2024, or January/February/March 2025 at our Sunderland or London Campus.
  • The tuition fee deposit of the undergraduate or postgraduate course must be received as cleared funds into the University of Sunderland’s bank account upfront before CAS is issued (Semester 1 – Progressing onto September or October courses 2024) or (Semester 2 - Progressing onto January or February courses 2025). The University will not be held liable for any delays with overseas banks and it the responsibility of the student to ensure funds are received by the University before the deadline.  
  • Applicants must be classified as an “International” student for fee purposes.
