National Glass Centre Research, formerly called the Institute for International Research in Glass (IIRG), promotes and facilitates research in glass at an international level.
CARCuos is a research centre for the ceramic arts at the University of Sunderland in the North East of England.
Research fellows contribute their skills and experience into teaching, reach-out, publication, and exhibition. Resident artists work on their own projects, using the outstanding facilities provided by the University.
