Whether you're a current or prospective PGR student, an academic, examiner, or an employer, you can contact us about all administrative aspects of PGR degrees: graduate.school@sunderland.ac.uk.

Our research community

As a PGR student you'll join a friendly and supportive peer group. You'll be there to support each other through your research journeys, sharing advice, talking about your ideas, and developing your arguments.

Your supervisory team are also there to support you during your studies. They'll be on hand to guide you through your degree, advise you on standards and regulations, and meet with you each month to assess your progress.

There are also opportunities to connect with your research community through workshops and conferences, as well as a variety of research events, delivered by Interdisciplinary Research Networks and Research Institutes.
