Between July 4 and July 10, The University of Sunderland’s Summer Graduations will take place at the Stadium of Light

 Here’s everything you need to know about what, where, and when everything is happening.

 

What time are the Graduation Ceremonies each day?

The actual ceremonies take place at 9.30am each morning and 3pm each afternoon

 

Where is the closest Metro stop to the Stadium of Light?

St Peter’s Metro Station is just a five minute walk from the Stadium of Light

 

Where can my guests park their cars?

The Stadium of Light has plenty of car parking spaces available

 

Who is graduating on Wednesday, July 4?

Today’s graduates are from the Faculty of Arts and Creative Industries

 

Who are the Honorary graduates on Wednesday, July 4?

Today we welcome International designer to the stars, Gareth Pugh and Mirror journalist Kevin Maguire

 

Who is graduating on Thursday, July 5?

Today’s graduates come from the Faculty of Health Sciences and Wellbeing

 

Who are the Honorary graduates on Thursday, July 5?

Today we honour England footballer Jill Scott, marathon champion Aly Dixon, TV doctor Chris Steele and internationally recognised medic Professor Ian Fraser

 

Who is graduating on Friday, July 6?

In the morning, graduates will come from the Faculty of Computer Science, the Faculty of Engineering and Advanced Manufacture and The Institute of Automotive and Manufacturing Advanced Practice (AMAP)

The afternoon ceremony will be for the Faculty of Education and Society

 

Who is the Honorary Graduate on Friday, July 6.

Today we will welcome Karen Walker, Chief Marketing Officer at Cisco, who has an international profile in technology and marketing

All day, we will be welcoming students from the Faculty of Education and Society

 

Who is graduating on Tuesday, July 10?

Today is the day we welcome students from the Faculty of Business, Law and Tourism, as well as students the University of Sunderland in London
