Sir Ken Gibson has transformed two North East secondary schools in recent years, and is regarded as a 'super-head' for the way he brings struggling schools back on track.

Sir Ken will be giving the next in our Public Lecture series on

Wednesday, 18 January 2017, 6.30pm - Science Complex, City Campus, Chester Road, Sunderland.

He will talk about the lessons learned working with Harton Technology College in South Shields, Jarrow School, Academy 360 in Pennywell and Boldon School - and share his thoughts on the 'unfair' educational system.

"You have to win hearts and minds both with the staff and the students, that's what I have always tried to do," he says.

In the first Public Lecture of 2017 Sir Ken Gibson will explore this very inclusive approach, and show the impact of mutual respect between educators and students.
