This engaging workshop will explore the studies that link media exposure and mental health issues with children.

Join us to investigate the relationship between children's mental health and how it is linked to the different aspects of media, such as content published by the press and social media engagement. We will also take a look at the role the National Health Service (NHS) plays and the origins of the services engaging with this sector.

This interactive session can also help you identify possible careers within health, social care, and children’s services.

The subjects represented in this workshop are BA (Hons) Childhood Studies and BSc (Hons) Health, Wellbeing and Care in Society.

This event is open to students in year 12 and 13 or anyone interested in the above subject areas at university level.

We are accepting both group bookings from teachers as well as individual bookings from students/enquirers.
