Topic - Apprenticeships
Employers and employees are invited to join our online event to find our more about our new three-year route to the Teacher Apprenticeship (Level 6).
This event provides a perfect opportunity to explore apprenticeship options for individuals who currently work in primary/secondary school education (such as teaching assistants or higher-level teaching assistants) who are looking to progress to a teacher role.
This apprenticeship offers the option to join the second year of the programme for those working as teaching assistants or the full three-year programme for any unqualified teachers/cover supervisors.
It will provide a full overview of the new three-year teacher apprenticeship currently offered to primary/secondary education for a mathematics route. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions to our professional academics about the programme and delivery.
It is also a great forum for school leaders/employers exploring the benefits that apprenticeships can have on developing the teaching workforce as well as discussing the apprenticeship levy and/or government funding to support teaching progression through an apprenticeship route.
This apprenticeship is designed to develop professional teaching and learning knowledge. Our programme is delivered by expert academics who have a wealth of experience in the educational environment and will support apprentices to engage with teaching and learning theories/practice, helping them to explore how to implement this in their own delivery.
Our new three-year route is delivered in addition to our existing 12-month Teacher Level 6 Apprenticeship.
A member of the apprenticeship team will also offer advice on the application and funding process.
We look forward to meeting you online.
