Join us for an engaging and insightful event designed specifically for prospective students interested in pursuing a career in social work.

This event is tailored for potential applicants to our BA (Hons) Social Work and offers a deep dive into the everyday realities and impactful work of social workers.

Through interactive activities, case studies, and discussions with experienced practitioners, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the diverse roles social workers play in society.

Students will begin by exploring the core responsibilities of social workers, including safeguarding of vulnerable individuals, supporting families in crisis, and advocating for social justice. 

You will have the opportunity to gain a clearer understanding of what social workers do, the impact they have on communities, and how our Social Work course can prepare you for this vital and rewarding career.

This event is for Year 12 and Year 13 students or anyone considering studying Social Work at university level.

We are accepting both group bookings from teachers as well as individual bookings from students/enquirers.
