Topic - Apprenticeships
Employers and prospective apprentices are invited to join our BSc (Hons) Podiatry degree apprenticeship information event.
This online event will provide employers, mentors, and prospective apprentices the chance to meet our programme academic team and learn more about this apprenticeship.
Our BSc (Hons) Podiatry (Apprenticeship) offers a great opportunity for those assisting podiatrists as foot care technicians or assistants, who would like to become podiatrists. It is also a perfect route for those exploring a new career in podiatry, through a recruited apprenticeship route offered by a Healthcare Provider (subject to entry criteria). Apprentices will be employed in either the National Health Service or in private practice and will need to have an employer agreement in place to apply.
This programme provides the opportunity for employers to utilise an Apprenticeship Levy or government funding to support staff development and promote individual career advancement, helping to mitigate skills shortages and contribute towards the success and sustainability of the sector moving forward.
The event will start with an overview from the course team, discussing the structure, delivery, and course content. You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions specific to you and your organisation.
A member of the apprenticeship team will offer advice on the application and funding process.
We look forward to meeting you online.
