Topic - Apprenticeships
Employers and employees are invited to join our BEng (Hons) Engineering Practice degree apprenticeship event.
Our Engineering Degree Apprenticeship consists of two pathways: Manufacturing Engineering Practice; and Electronic and Electrical Engineering Practice.
This apprenticeship is ideal for individuals who are currently working in an engineering role and are seeking to further enhance their knowledge and skills in either manufacturing or electrical/electronic engineering. It is designed to develop skills that will focus on enhancing abilities to contribute to the organisation, around the specific context of the technical role.
The apprenticeship is delivered by expert academics who have a wealth of engineering experience and will support apprentices to engage with learning through theory and practice, helping them to explore how to implement this in the workplace.
This programme provides the opportunity for employers to utilise an Apprenticeship Levy or government funding to support staff development and promote individual career advancement, helping to mitigate skills shortages and contribute towards the success and sustainability of the sector moving forwards.
This event will start with an overview from the course team, discussing the structure, delivery, and course content – with the opportunity to ask questions specific to you and your organisation.
There will also be a member of the apprenticeship team there to offer advice on the application and funding process.
We look forward to meeting you online.
