AI in Education – Myths, Ethics, and Practical Applications

Home / Events / AI in Education – Myths, Ethics, and Practical Applications

Topic - Apprenticeships

AI isn’t coming—it’s already here. But what does that mean for educators? In this session, we’ll cut through the hype to explore what AI can (and can’t) do, how to use it ethically, and how it can help reduce workload without replacing the human element of teaching.

What will we cover?

  • The truth about AI – what it can and can’t do in education
  • Ethical considerations – how to use AI responsibly and teach learners to do the same
  • Three practical AI tools – a hands-on look at AI software that can help with lesson planning, assessment, and learner engagement
  • How to spot AI-generated work – and how to guide learners in using AI properly

What will you get from this session?

You will leave with a better understanding of AI in education, practical ways to integrate it into your work, and confidence in identifying AI use among learners. Whether you’re a teacher, trainer, or mentor, this session will help you future-proof your role and make AI work for you – not against you.
