Lecturer
I am a Registered Adult Nurse with a background in acute care and practice education within the NHS. In my previous role as clinical education nurse, I worked with internationally educated nurses supporting them to gain NMC registration, providing pastoral support, recruitment, simulation and clinical area coaching.
I have recently completed my PGCE and gained Fellowship of The Higher Education Academy and I am now working towards my MSc in Education.
I always aim to teach with a student-centred approach and provide a motivational learning environment. My interests include simulation, cultural competence, diabetes care, reflective-practice, research and the provision of holistic care.
