Lecturer/Apprentice Educator Supervisor in Practice

I started my nursing career in a busy theatre environment specialising in scrub in plastic reconstruction, general surgery including upper GI and colorectal, and emergency care. I transitioned to a staff nurse role in sexual health and supported the prevention of onward transmission of infections through treatment and partner notification.

I hold a master's in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing, in Health Visiting, which combined my interest in public health and supporting families through early years interventions.

Teaching and supervision

I teach BSc (Hons) Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship supporting apprentices employed by Spire HealthCare. As an Apprentice Educator Supervisor in Practice, I work closely with the nurse degree apprentices helping them achieve their educational and clinical goals.
