Lecturer – Patient, Carer and Public Involvement

I am a Lecturer in Patient, Carer and Public Involvement (PCPI) based in School of Nursing and Health Sciences in the Faculty of Health Sciences and Wellbeing.
I have a BA (Hons) in American Studies (2004), and a master's in Diplomacy (2005), both from Lancaster University.

Prior to joining the University in 2024, I was involved in the retail optics sector for 18 years, working for both multiple and independent opticians.

I have interests in optics and eye health, as well as in neurodiversity – especially neurodiversity in children and their experiences in the education system.
