Senior Lecturer

My current research interests are in anatomy pedagogy. In particular in the development and evaluation of bespoke anatomy curriculum for healthcare professionals and the advancement of an ultrasound curriculum for undergraduate medical students.



Teaching and supervision

I have taught anatomy to medical, dental and health sciences students in universities in the UK and Ireland. Currently, I teach anatomy on MBChB Medicine as well as other healthcare science and biomedical students.

I am also a Persons Designated under our HTA licence and have Senior Fellowship of the HEA.

Research interests for potential research students

My current research interests are in medical education and in particular anatomy pedagogy. I am very keen to discuss PhD proposals with prospective students.

Research

My current research focuses on anatomy pedagogy. In particular the development of bespoke anatomy curriculum for healthcare professionals and the advancement of an ultrasound curriculum for undergraduate medical students. I currently lead on this component of the curriculum for MBChB Medicine.
