MA Media Production (Film and Television)
I am a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and Programme Leader for MA Media Production (Film and Television).
I have supervised national and international award-winning student filmmakers and I manage the faculty's academic partnership with the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Albert and the education partnership with Avid Technology. I have industry links and networks external to the University and attempt to embed realistic workplace expectations across the curriculum.
I have recent experience working at senior levels on some of the largest drama productions shot in the UK. I have worked with industry professionals on multiple Virtual Production volumes and understand the requirements for scheduling and directing in the studio space.
I am committed to promoting sustainability in the film and television industry and enthusiastic about finding ways we can reduce waste, energy consumption, and carbon emissions during filming.
