Research Technician (Bioscience)
I am a Research Technician in the Bioscience sector of the John Dawson Drug Discovery and Development Research Institute, based in the John Dawson Sciences Complex. My role is to support and contribute to the bioscience research projects taking place in the institute.
I've recently been awarded a Doctorate from Northumbria University, with my research based in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry and Veterinary Parasitology, and will (have) graduate(d) in December 2024. Prior to this, I achieved a BSc in Biomedical Science and an MSc in Microbiology.
My research interests are primarily in protein biochemistry, molecular biology, microbiology and parasitology, but this is a non-exhaustive list.
