I'm a Professor of Public Health and Education Innovation, with expertise in education, leadership, and innovation in health management. My professional interest is in population health and well-being through the lens of policy and strategy.
I've held a number of roles as an independent chair or expert invitee in the health and not-for-profit sector.
I'm an Associate Non-Executive board member of the Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust (March 2024 to date), for which I'm Chair of the Quality Assurance Committee and Board Safety Champion for Maternity Services.
I previously served as the University of Leeds appointed Non-Executive to Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (October 2017–2020) and subsequently to Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust (November 2020–September 2023). In both organisations, I chaired the Quality Committee.
