Senior Lecturer

I've been at University of Sunderland since 2015, following a Welcome Trust Fellowship at Newcastle University.

I deliver teaching and supervise research projects within immunology. My other roles include working as a representative of the British Society of Immunology and Chairing the Practitioner Training Programme Special Interest Group on behalf of the National School of Healthcare Science.

I am the module lead for HCS328 Clinical Immunology. I also supervise students for stage 2 dissertations and stage 3 undergraduate research projects.

Research interests for potential research students

I am interested in research projects in the area of cell migration and its role in inflammation and cancer.
