Personal Academic Tutor

I am currently an associate tutor within the Business School and lecture on strategic leadership, business continuity and resilience. I also supervise students on the MBA course. My main role is Personal Academic Tutor within Business and Technology and I really look forward to being able to further enhance the support, coaching and mentoring of students within our faculty.

Prior to working at the University, I completed a full career in the fire and rescue service for over 34 years, ending up as Head of Emergency Response on the Strategic Leadership Team, which gave me valuable lived experience in the field. I also worked with fire and health and safety legislation as a qualified inspector and on a national level with respect to anti-terror response and aircraft incidents.

I have a master’s degree in strategic leadership and a foundation degree in fire/crime scene management. More recently, I have qualified as an associate tutor fellow.

When not working you can find me in my music production studio and driving around as head chauffeur for my children!
