Finance, Development and Resources Committee has delegated authority from the Board of Governors for general oversight of and provision of advice to the Board on the use of resources, the solvency of the University and arrangements for safeguarding its assets.
Amongst the Finance, Development and Resources Committee's key responsibilities are the recommendation of annual estimates of income and expenditure for approval by the Board, monitoring and advising the Board on the management of the approved budget and resources, overseeing and advising the Board in relation to the preparation and maintenance of the University’s Strategic Plan, Annual Operating Plans, and support strategies such as the Estates Masterplan and the provision of advice to the Board on the financing of the University.
