Paul is currently in his final year studying Pharmacy (MPharm). Paul was appointed to the role of Student Governor in July 2020.
During his time at the University, Paul has been an active member of the Students’ Union, and dedicated to representing the student community.
Paul began as a course representative for the MPharm programme, before being promoted to the role of School Coordinator – a position he has held for the past two years.
In March 2020, Paul was appointed to the position of Chair of Union Council. This branch of the Students’ Union promotes the student voice, allowing students to speak about the things they are passionate about.
Paul is also an active member of the Sunderland Pharmaceutical Students’ Association, and currently holds the role of Vice-President.
In 2019, Paul was awarded the Jemma O’Sullivan Award for Care and Compassion in the Practice of Pharmacy, and as a response to his continuing dedication to his fellow students, and the Pharmacy profession, has been recognised by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society as part of their ‘We Are Pharmacy’ campaign.
